Adrian Ramsay talks with Tim Brown of Tim Brown Architecture while on his 2018 Design Tour: Design From A Different Perspective in Austin Texas.

Tim Brown Architecture was formed in 2009 by Architect, Tim Brown. After many years of working in residential architecture, Tim wanted to explore a more comprehensive approach to design that included all the qualities a home should posses. Aesthetic beauty, energy efficiency and a custom fit for the homeowner are at the forefront of every one of the homes he designs. Tim attended the University of New Hampshire and Texas A&M University. He is a licensed Architect in several states, is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is LEED and BPI certified.

Adrian Ramsay grew up with a passion for design and “putting the pieces together”. Starting his creative career in the fashion industry, he began designing and flipping houses himself – getting noticed quickly by those in the area for capitalizing on his innovative and beautifully “livable” designs. Adrian Ramsay Design House has been running for 17 years, creating luxury design concepts for new homes and renovations on the Sunshine Coast and internationally.

In this video Adrian talks to Tim about how he got his start in Architecture, his Break-Out Professional Project, what he see’s as 2019’s Major Trends, his advice and opinions on different areas of house design and where his other business, Perch Plans, is heading in 2019 and beyond.
